May 2024. Tried this twice. Failed miserably. I lost the string with each pull. The bag didn't release the blood as in the video. The first time, I don't think the bag was angled enough. The 2nd time, it just dumped out of the bottom of my shirt. More detail would've helped. Kinda just sped through the most important part.
Sorry it didn’t work quite right for you. Unfortunately there can be some trial and error. I did this several times. Here are some suggestions. If you have someone helping on set, the second person could pull the string to help trigger the effect. Also to self trigger possibly a piece of tape on the string to your foot would hold it in place. Also check the bags zipper. That is key to ensure it flows on command. The zipper needs to move fluidly. As far as it just dumping out the bottom of the shirt… the wardrobe should possibly be a little tighter fitting to your actor. I used this effect many times in a stage production where it worked night after night. I only had one misfire in the entire process. Hope this helps. Let us know if these suggestions come through. That series was the biggest pile of steaming shit ive ever seen. The current trend in true crime based documentary film making seems to comprise of editing together 5 + hours of fruitless garbage footage with mostly just the cuck film makers on their laptops doing google searches and generally getting no where in terms of progressing through the case to its conclusion.

For one dollar this aint bad actually. Obviously you don't get any splatter like there'd be if it was a scene with a rifle or shotgun but it looks like it could work really well with pistols and knives. Or even an aftermath of someone being shot up. Just put holes in the shirt and done. I'll try it out and see how it looks!
